I never quite learned the different types of salat - they seemed different from restaurant to restaurant. Sometimes it was a leaf salad, with greens and raw carrots, other times it was pickled veggies such as this temptation. It was all quite delicious. Wienerschnitzel mit pommes frites. Wienerschnitzel is NOT a sausage, like most Americans tend to believe. They are thinking of wursts (like bratwurst). Schnitzels are flat pieces of meat, pork or veal, fried with crumbs or baked with sauces.
